I approach, you smile, I touch, you chill
I talk, you wonder, uncomfortableness sawed asunder
I listen, you talk, I remember, you feel
I share, you care, in love? don't dare
I push, you pull, I say no, you say yes, you put on the cape thinking you're the f@#$%#& best
Continue we talk, caress not yet, the touch of my voice, makes you wet
Yes you're shy, success when I pry, now comfortable, memories begin to die
Future starts and shedding begins, you envision a life that will never end
Truth appears, with lightning you're struck, you're in love and we haven't even f%$@&$
My patience you want, persistence you believe I'm special
because your box, I continue to overlook like a treasure vessel
Now you want, despite the obvious
your reality shows me more than devious
No longer you but game of the chase
Finally realizing, you are running at my pace.
I'm not convinced I like this piece but I am fascinated by it. It demonstrates a sense of push-and-pull between the sexes in the current times. I kind of get a mental picture of an aggressive dance in my head. It's captivating. I've noticed a theme of 'modern society and culture' in your works. I can't help but think the line "
ReplyDeleteI push, you pull, I say no, you say yes, you put on the cape thinking you're the f@#$%#& best" comes from Drake's Best I Ever Had song. At least, that's what it reminds me of. I think I do like it. It's crude and raw; provocative even.
